Job summary

Concrete Strategies is seeking a National / STL General Requirements Project Manager to lead jobsite logistics, manpower coordination, contract administration, financial tracking, and billing for GR/GC services on projects nationwide. This onsite role (Elkhart, IN) requires heavy travel and a deeper focus on labor, safety, and profitability.

Role emphasizes ownership, coordination with GC clients, and scaling the GR/GC self-perform group across regions, with potential for leadership as volume

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or similar role in construction.
• Our clients and projects are nationwide – heavy travel will be required
• Strong understanding of General Requirements / General Conditions scopes.
• Proven experience managing labor, cost tracking, and monthly billing.
• Contract review, negotiation, and proposal development experience.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to track costs, margins, and recoverables.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different regions.
• Direct, professional communication style with clients and partners.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to walk the jobsite, climb ladders / multi-story scaffolding, and lift objects 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Project Financial Management & Invoicing: Manage monthly invoicing for GR/GC services across all active national projects.
• Track and reconcile labor, equipment rental, temporary facilities, and material costs.
• Ensure invoiced amounts align with contracts, T&M logs, and field reports.
• Coordinate with accounting on billing schedules, collections, and revenue tracking.
• Develop chart of accounts for GR and Site logistics plan with project teams.
• Contribute to forecasting and analyzing monthly cost projections.
