Job summary

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) in Arlington, VA seeks a Principal Field Office Director to provide strategic leadership and oversee a nationwide network of field offices delivering refugee and humanitarian services.

You will supervise Field Office Directors, drive program expansion, manage budgets and ensure grant compliance while advancing fundraising and partnerships with communities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred for advanced leadership roles.
• Minimum ten years in leadership for refugee resettlement, humanitarian services, nonprofit management, or related fields.
• Seven+ years supervising senior managers and multi-site operations.
• Commitment to humanitarian values and diverse populations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Budget management experience and grant oversight.
• Strategic planning for program growth and fundraising.
• Experience with monitoring & evaluation to ensure program quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term planning to strengthen service delivery across field offices.
• Establish best practices and operational standards for consistency and accountability across the network.
• Provide supervision and support to Field Office Directors and senior staff.
• Monitor budgets, grant expenditures, and operational expenses; ensure compliance.
• Support fundraising strategy and proposal development with funders.
• Advocate for refugees, immigrants, and vulnerable populations in the community.
• Oversee volunteer management and integration into programs.
