Job summary

Flock is expanding its DFR infrastructure, requiring hands-on field technicians to install drone docks, configure hardware, and troubleshoot ground connectivity across the United States. You will assess sites, mount equipment, and document deployments while ensuring safety and code compliance.

Travel up to 100% is required, with weekends at home typically. Candidates should be comfortable living on the road, lifting up to 75 lbs, and working outdoors on varied sites.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 certification or willingness to obtain within 45 days.
• Experience in field-based work such as construction, telecoms, or similar technical environments.
• Hands-on proficiency with networking, electrical systems, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver's license and ability to manage travel logistics nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide on-site installations for DFR hardware and drone docks.
• Perform site assessments for power, mounting, connectivity, and access.
• Install and configure cameras, docks, and supporting infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues in the field.
• Complete installation documentation, photos, and logs.
• Collaborate with customers and deployment teams to meet safety standards.
