Job summary

Asthma and Allergy Impact and Rescue Foundation is seeking a VP of Development to lead AAIR’s national fundraising effort and build the development function for growth. You will own strategy across individual giving, corporate partnerships, foundations, and government funding, and build a high-performing team to support scalable revenue growth.

The role reports to the CEO, partners with the Board, and aims to drive annual revenue growth beyond $20 million by 2031, while evolving AAIR’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience across multiple streams.
• Experience developing fundraising strategies and building development infrastructure.
• Proven ability to cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and institutional funders.
• Experience leading or building a development team, scaling systems and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AAIR’s long-term development strategy for national growth.
• Create a multi-year fundraising plan aligned with program priorities and revenue goals.
• Oversee four revenue streams: individual giving, corporate partnerships, foundations, government funding.
• Set measurable goals, pipelines, and KPIs across revenue streams.
• Expand AAIR’s funding base with major gifts, corporate partnerships, and institutional funding.
• Lead and grow a national development team and fundraising infrastructure.
