Job summary

Our client, a Top 100 U.S. public accounting and advisory firm, seeks a Dairy Accounting Practice Leader to take the reins of an established dairy practice and guide its next chapter.

You'll own a portfolio of dairy clients, lead a skilled team, and partner with marketing and business development to drive growth nationwide. Remote, hybrid, or office arrangements are available, with national travel to support clients across the country.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience serving dairy clients.
• Dairy accounting and tax expertise; understand dairy operations.
• Experience leading client service teams and mentoring staff.
• Executive presence and trusted advisor to owners/executives.
• Growth mindset with ability to expand relationships and close new business.
• CPA strongly preferred, though not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an established dairy practice.
• Own a portfolio of dairy clients and provide advisory services on accounting, tax and business strategy.
• Guide a team already doing dairy work and develop their skills under your leadership.
• Represent the firm at industry associations and events.
• Develop and expand client relationships and collaborate with business development.
• Mentor and coach the team, building bench strength for growth.
• Operate as a national platform alongside adjacent sectors.
