Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Divisional Craft Trainer - Concrete to support the Director of Craft Training and manage internal craft training programs across the Water Division.

The role includes coordinating external Registered Apprentice Programs and delivering classroom and hands-on content in various formats. Travel to jobsites and regional offices is required (50-75%), with a focus on mentoring apprentices and journey-level professionals, and developing leadership training for

Qualifications

• 3 years of mentoring early career craft professionals (apprentices and/or helpers) as a Journeyman, Foreman, or Superintendent.
• Regular travel required (50-75%), to jobsites & regional offices, home most weekends.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Must commit to a 2 year rotation in order to qualify internally.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for Training Director for Water Division on all craft training initiatives.
• Primary contact for all levels of craft professionals attending internal craft training programs.
• Primary contact for apprentices enrolled in external Registered Apprentice Programs.
• Delivering craft training classroom and hands-on content through live in-person, live online, and recorded sessions.
