Unum is seeking a National Client Manager to serve as the relationship steward for large block clients, delivering customized service strategies and driving growth and retention. The role supports the Chicago/Milwaukee team, with in-office and travel expectations across client sites.

The position emphasizes strategic planning, renewal management, and broker/partner collaboration to deliver Unum’s value proposition and industry leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 to 7 years employee benefits/insurance industry experience preferred.
• Strong consultative, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Owns the account management strategy for an assigned block of business within a defined territory.
• Develops strategic customized business plans to increase client understanding of Unum’s value proposition and industry trends.
• Strategic execution of renewal conditioning and pre-renewal reviews with clients.
• Partners with Sales Consultants to present renewals and gather underwriting data as needed.
• Focuses on enrollment education and broker/TPA relationships to provide comprehensive solutions.
