Job description

Position Overview

Responsible for assisting the National Client Executive and Director of National Accounts with their assigned clients and maintaining positive mutual relationships between each client and Zelis. The National Client Manager will manage a strategic book of business, achieving revenue targets, ensuring client retention, fostering growth with additional products and services, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction to ensure Zelis' service delivery exceeds expectations and drives a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a "trusted advisor" relationship with key decision makers at all levels within the account.
  2. Lead project management initiatives across multiple client engagements, focusing on scope, risk management, quality, timeliness, and profitability.
  3. Assist national accounts leadership in developing account strategies to expand services across Zelis' product portfolio.
  4. Serve as a liaison between organizational departments and clients to drive satisfaction and operational efficiencies.
  5. Communicate account development plans and status to enterprise business units.
  6. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges.
  7. Collaborate internally and externally to develop strategic plans to achieve revenue and growth targets while ensuring client satisfaction.
  8. Understand Zelis' key differentiators, product strategies, features, and functionalities applicable to clients.
  9. Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to Zelis standards regarding privacy and security.
  10. Travel domestically approximately 40% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years' experience in Healthcare IT or Fintech, working with major health insurance companies.
  • At least one year in consulting, client management, project management, sales, or similar roles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives at Fortune 50 companies.
  • Knowledge of Zelis' product portfolio and implementation processes.
  • Understanding of healthcare adjudication, payment, and support processes.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and listening skills.
  • Ability to analyze healthcare data and summarize information accurately.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce experience a plus.
