Job description

The National Catering Sales Manager at Sweetgreen plays a pivotal role in driving national catering sales for our restaurants. This position involves proactively soliciting national accounts, through lead generation, strategic networking, targeted marketing efforts, and collaboration with local restaurant teams to provide comprehensive sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand catering footprint.
  • Nurture relationships with key business partners.
  • Ensure alignment between national initiatives and local operations capabilities.
  • Enhance catering offerings to deliver exceptional value to clients.
  • Implement a comprehensive sales plan to increase catering revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong B2B relationships, focusing on corporate accounts, colleges, universities, and hospitals.
  • Engage effectively with incoming leads and optimize conversion rates.
  • Input leads, contacts, quotes, and booked orders into the CRM system.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Possess deep knowledge of our catering menu, recipes, and specifications to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Act as a proactive Sweetgreen Brand Ambassador.
  • 20% travel for business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable with ezCater, MSI, and other catering partners.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the catering or food service industry.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
