Job summary

The Hartford seeks an enterprise product and P&L leader to shape and own the Auto and Home portfolio strategy, profitability, and market competitiveness. You will drive growth across Direct, Agency, and emerging channels, reporting to the Chief Product & Data Science Officer.

You will lead an integrated household product strategy, ensuring underwriting and pricing excellence while delivering sustained profitability and customer outcomes in a dynamic insurance landscape.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of P&C insurance experience with leadership in Personal Lines product, pricing, underwriting, actuarial or general management.
• Proven executive leader with end-to-end accountability for a complex business, product portfolio, or P&L.
• Deep understanding of Personal Lines economics, pricing, underwriting, coverage and Direct/Agency distribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead Auto and Home portfolio health and growth in partnership with Personal Insurance senior leadership.
• Advance product roadmaps, pricing, segmentation, and underwriting for Auto and Home.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, State Product, Underwriting, Data Science, Claims, Distribution, and Digital teams to improve price-to-risk and market competitiveness.
• Drive innovation and technology roadmaps across product, data, and telematics.
• Build and align a high-performance Auto and Home product leadership team.
