Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in the United States seeks a National Air Logistics Operations Optimization Manager to lead transformational initiatives across our U.S. Air Logistics network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of Air Logistics operational experience with strong understanding of service delivery and workflows.
• Proven success leading process improvement, transformation, automation, or optimization initiatives.
• Strong project management skills with ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver measurable results.
• Extensive knowledge of Air Logistics operations, carrier relationships, and best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of Air Logistics systems such as SALOG, BPA, CareLOG, eTouch, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional partnerships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational optimization initiatives across the U.S. Air Logistics network.
• Identify, develop, and implement solutions to improve performance, productivity, and service quality.
• Evaluate and redesign workflows across CC L, OCC, RCC and other functions.
• Drive standardization initiatives aligned with global Air Logistics standards.
• Serve as a stakeholder in automation and digital transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Global Services and Global Operations Optimization teams.
• Analyze challenges and develop sustainable solutions to improve customer experience and reduce costs.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and buy-in for organizational change.
• Lead project implementation, monitoring, adoption and success management.
• Act as SME for Air Logistics systems and best practices.
• Travel extensively for workflow reviews and implementation support.
• Lead and mentor optimization resources and project teams.
