Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for the National Accounts Facilities team, on-site at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, Kansas.

The role focuses on ensuring construction project objectives are met on time and within budget by coordinating with general contractors, managing submittals, plans, and specifications. The ideal candidate holds a Construction Management degree with at least three years of experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager,

Qualifications

• Construction Management degree with at least 3 years’ experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Assistant PM.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Familiar with bidding, RFI, submittals, contracts, change orders, site safety/mgmt., progress meetings, Procore, and project closeout.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Willing to travel intermittently.

Responsibilities

• Review construction project plans and specs to determine materials, order materials, and coordinate with outside vendors.
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Present information to managers, clients, and communicate technical findings clearly.
• Master project coordinating and problem solving using good judgment and forecasting.
• Follow administrative procedures for on-time and under-budget project management.
• Monitor all projects to ensure quality standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor submittals and track job materials.
• Determine innovative solutions to problems in project execution.
• Maintain job files and ensure projects are completed and billed accurately.
• Collaborate with partners and service teams to meet SLAs.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward customers and colleagues.
