Our Hu and Enjoy Life brands within Mondelēz International are seeking a chocolate-loving Sales leader to drive growth in the West grocery channel for Hu Products. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the CPG sales process in large conventional grocery accounts, particularly Albertson’s, with existing relationships and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. This remote position reports to the Sr. National Account Manager – Mass.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Sr. National Account Manager to develop a sales strategy for West Conventional grocery customers.
  • Implement channel strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Identify and open new accounts, focusing on Albertson’s, Safeway, HEB, Hy-Vee, and Meijer.
  • Build relationships with partners to promote category opportunities such as pricing, promotions, POS, and shelf placement.
  • Partner with trade and marketing teams to support account growth.
  • Plan and manage promotional activities and trade spend initiatives with relevant teams.
  • Ensure strong customer service levels in collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Leverage broker and distributor networks to support channel growth in line with Hu’s values.
  • Provide feedback for product development and competitive positioning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 3 years managing Albertson’s; experience with HEB, Hy-Vee, and Meijer a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the grocery channel landscape.
  • Proven success as a top-performing salesperson and team leader.
  • Experience developing impactful sales strategies.
  • Ability to foster partnerships with brokers and third-party teams.
  • Experience with distributor relationships (e.g., UNFI, KeHe).
  • Strong negotiation, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, growth mindset, and process improvement focus.

The salary range is $117,400 to $161,425, based on experience and skills. The role includes a competitive bonus program and benefits such as health insurance, wellness programs, retirement plans, paid leave, and holidays. No relocation support is provided.
