Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

About The Role

The National Account Manager manages relationships and projects for key customer accounts, fostering responsiveness and transparency to drive engagement and retention. The role also explores new relationship opportunities through market research and onboarding activities in collaboration with the sales team.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage multiple key accounts, building transparent, trusting, professional relationships, ensuring brand guideline adherence.
  2. Serve as the liaison between accounts and internal teams, addressing queries and complaints to ensure a superior customer experience.
  3. Identify prospective strategic customers using PLA tools.
  4. Partner with sales to onboard new customers and vendors.
  5. Support customer relationship maintenance through communication, understanding needs, and gathering satisfaction feedback.
  6. Assist the sales team with data and metrics reporting to identify trends and improve customer experience.
  7. Maintain knowledge of market trends, best practices, and PLA services.
  8. Represent PLA at various events.
  9. Update customer data in systems as needed.
  10. Foster collaborative partnerships with PLA staff and customers.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education
  1. At least 2 years in sales or account management within manufacturing.
  2. Proven relationship-building skills and customer focus.
  3. CRM proficiency; HubSpot and Zoom Info are a plus.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
Physical & Environment
  1. Prolonged sitting and computer work.
  2. Ability to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
  3. Work mainly in a climate-controlled environment; occasional travel may be required with safety equipment as needed.
