Job description

The National Account Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales for the Convenience, Food & Drug Segment. This position is responsible for achieving sales, profits and growth targets for Highline-Warren distributed and manufactured products sold within to the Convenience and Food channels.

Location: Remote with 50% travel required. Must be located within proximity to a major airport. Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Naperville, and Atlanta preferred.

The ideal candidate should have experience in strategic planning, sales data analytics, new business development, account management, and building relationships with wholesale distributors and retailers in the CFD segment.

  • Collaborate with category/product management, channel manager, marketing, and supply chain to develop and execute a collaborative business plan that delivers increased sales volume and profit
  • Prospect for new businesses to increase sales and market share
  • Develop and build strong relationships with all key contacts
  • Lead strategic sales planning across multiple categories and product lines
  • Create and analyze annual trade spending and promotional sales plans
  • Meet and exceed sales forecasts, goals, and budgets
  • Maintain a current opportunities list and follow up on all inquiries and leads.
  • Report weekly on sales results and new business opportunities
  • Exceed individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as set by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Prepare professional data-driven sales presentations

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4 years’ experience in successful sales management
  • Experience in the Convenience, Food, and Drug channels is required.
  • Broker/Rep Agency Management Experience preferred.
  • Experience with Consumer-Packaged Goods highly preferred
  • Experience in the Convenience Store Channel plus
