Position Overview

The National Account Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales for the Convenience, Food & Drug Segment. This position is responsible for achieving sales, profits and growth targets for Highline-Warren distributed and manufactured products sold within the Convenience and Food channels.

Location: Remote with 50% travel required. Must be located within proximity to a major airport. Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Naperville, and Atlanta preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with category/product management, channel manager, marketing, and supply chain to develop and execute a collaborative business plan that delivers increased sales volume and profit.
  • Prospect for new businesses to increase sales and market share.
  • Develop and build strong relationships with all key contacts.
  • Lead strategic sales planning across multiple categories and product lines.
  • Create and analyze annual trade spending and promotional sales plans.
  • Meet and exceed sales forecasts, goals, and budgets.
  • Maintain a current opportunities list and follow up on all inquiries and leads.
  • Report weekly on sales results and new business opportunities.
  • Exceed individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as set by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare professional data-driven sales presentations.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in successful sales management.
  • Experience in the Convenience, Food, and Drug channels is required.
  • Broker/Rep Agency Management Experience preferred.
  • Experience with Consumer-Packaged Goods highly preferred.
  • Experience in the Convenience Store Channel plus.
