Overview

The Role

Our client is seeking a National Accounts Manager to drive nationwide sales of custom and bulk wire products. This role requires a mix of strategic planning and hands-on business development, with a focus on opening new markets and expanding key accounts. A manufacturing rep arrangement may be considered for the right candidate if a direct hire is not feasible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy targeting original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), wholesalers, distributors, and large end-users.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders from purchasing, engineering, and operations.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, working closely with internal design, production, and leadership teams to align capabilities with client needs.
  • Travel to industry trade shows, customer sites, and corporate HQ to strengthen partnerships and close deals.
  • Leverage recent investments and expanded capacity to position the company as a high-quality, reliable partner in the wire manufacturing space.
  • Report on market trends, pipeline performance, and account growth opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in wire, cable, metal fabrication, or industrial products.
  • Proven track record of managing large accounts and developing new business across a wide geography.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.
  • Comfortable operating independently while staying tightly aligned with the broader team.
  • Willingness to travel (20-30%) as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
