About the Role
As a National Account Manager, you’ll own a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market accounts, deepening relationships, growing wallet share, and ensuring every customer thrives with EcoEnclose. You’ll report to our VP of Account Management, and join a tight-knit AM team focused on retention, growth, and being a genuine strategic partner - an "EcoAlly" - to the brands we serve.

Why This Role
On-target total compensation of $90,000-140,000 (base $80,000 + commission and bonuses), managing a $4M-6M book of national and enterprise accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth & Retention
- Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and expansion strategies.
- Develop and execute account plans focused on customer success and retention.
- Monitor account health and usage data to proactively identify risk and engagement opportunities.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Become an extension of your customer’s team by creating value across multiple functions within their organization.
- Understand customers’ sustainability goals and help them align with EcoEnclose solutions.
- Provide a roadmap and plan for how to help customers achieve their sustainability metrics.
- Serve as the voice of the customer within EcoEnclose, advocating for their needs and driving product innovation.
- Cultivate customer referrals through great experiences.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of orders, quoting, and follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date account records and activities in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Creative, Assurance) to deliver seamless service.
Strategic and Sustainability Advising
- Understand customers’ annual purchasing schedules to establish and manage ordering cadence.
- Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews to plan for new product launches and collaborate on annual objectives.
- Act as a sustainability advisor and thought partner to help brands make more environmentally conscious choices.
- Provide accurate sustainability reporting data to customers via EcoReports.
What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Manage a $4M-6M book of business across a portfolio of national and enterprise accounts, delivering top-tier service to each one.
- Grow existing accounts 20%+ year over year with enterprise and mid-market clients, converting new SKU opportunities and increasing wallet share.
- Retain 90%+ of new customers after their first year.
- Assess customer health regularly, with the majority of accounts in a "Thriving" state.
- Work collaboratively with Sales to onboard new customers with speed and accuracy, ensuring seamless account transitions.
- Deliver 95%+ of new SKU projects and reorders on time and error-free, with support from our Creative and Delivery Team.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of demonstrated success in account management, sales, or strategic growth roles in a B2B environment (or equivalent experience).
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious targets.
- Strong instinct for building trust with key contacts, finding problem-product fit, and representing EcoEnclose’s sustainability vision.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tradeoffs and navigate unique stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to build and execute against a complex project plan.
- Ability to prioritize against a large, competing set of priorities.

- Base salary of $80,000, with an on-target total compensation of 90,000-140,000 including commission and bonuses.
