Job summary

Nashville Riverboats is seeking a Ticket Sales Operator in Nashville, TN, to greet guests, share schedules and pricing, and close same-day ticket sales at outdoor kiosks along the riverfront.

You’ll engage passersby, promote upgrades, and handle POS transactions while maintaining a clean, guest-ready booth and supporting events. This role offers evening and weekend availability, uncapped earning potential through commission, and benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide accurate information on schedules, routes, pricing, and policies.
• Actively engage the general public along the riverfront and surrounding areas.
• Pound the pavement to generate interest and drive same-day ticket sales.
• Initiate conversations, overcome objections, and close sales on the spot.
• Promote upgrades, premium experiences, and cross-brand offerings.
• Distribute wristbands and boarding passes, and assist with wayfinding and boarding.
• Support crowd flow and manage mobile kiosk traffic during peak times.
• Process electronic POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready booths and kiosks.
• Restock brochures and supplies; communicate with operations regarding capacity and scheduling.
• Assist with special events and other operational needs as required.

What You’ll Do

Physical & Schedule Requirements

• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light supplies
• Valid Driver's License

Compensation & Benefits

• $15/Hour Base Pay + 3% Uncapped Commission on All Sales
