Manthey Hospitality is seeking motivated, safety-minded Deckhands to join our Nashville Riverboats team. This entry-level opportunity offers a path to senior deck positions, vessel operations, and Captain roles for dedicated individuals.

You will help ensure safe operation of vessels during sightseeing cruises, dinners, weddings, and events, delivering exceptional guest experiences on the water in Nashville.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18+ with valid state-issued ID.
• Ability to swim 100 yards.
• Physically able to lift, carry and assist passengers in emergencies.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work long, flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Team-oriented with strong situational awareness.

• Ensure passenger safety during boarding, cruising, and disembarking.
• Maintain vessel cleanliness (decks, restrooms, public spaces, exterior).
• Assist with mooring, fueling, potable water intake, and waste removal.

• Perform routine maintenance including washing, painting, and detailing.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Captain with line handling, docking, and navigation duties

What You Bring

• Ability to swim 100 yards and tread water for 3 minutes
• Physically able to lift, carry, and assist passengers in emergencies
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work long, flexible shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays)
• Team-oriented with strong situational awareness
• High school diploma
• Must participate in our U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulated drug testing consortium, as required for safety-sensitive maritime positions
• Ability to pass pre-employment and on-going random drug and alcohol testing
