Job summary

A3 Technology, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer/Integrator in Washington, DC to conduct comprehensive system-wide reviews of NAS development, focusing on ATC systems, automation, communications, and navigation elements.

The role supports the Transformative Technology Office in planning and implementing new concepts for the FAA’s long-term NAS vision. The candidate will assess legacy-to-modern transitions, identify gaps and risks in NAS infrastructure, and prepare technical papers briefing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited) with 6–10 years of relevant experience, or a related master’s with 3–7 years.
Experience interpreting Enterprise Architecture models and frameworks.
Apply systems engineering concepts to analyze NAS evolution from As-Is to To-Be and identify gaps in operational capabilities.
Familiarity with enterprise requirements development and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

Transition legacy systems to modernized systems.
Evaluate baselined engineering, acquisition functions and infrastructure to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for ICN efforts.
Perform NAS infrastructure assessments and submit technical papers and briefs to support decisions on new activities and modernization.
Identify dependencies, gaps and integration challenges; provide recommendations to minimize programmatic impacts.
