Job summary

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the FAA NAS team. You will provide engineering expertise across NAS domains to develop strategies, roadmaps, and investment priorities.

The role requires deep NAS knowledge and enterprise-level engineering delivery. You will assess current NAS capabilities, create baseline representations, and develop future-state concepts with stakeholders across FAA organizations, acquisition, safety, and research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited college or university with 15–20 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 12–17 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the National Airspace System (NAS) and its domains.
• Experience applying systems engineering principles to complex, integrated systems.
• Ability to interpret FAA enterprise architecture information and models.
• Knowledge of FAA NAS enterprise architecture and modernization environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior systems engineering and SME support for NAS strategy development.
• Assess NAS systems, services, capabilities, and infrastructure to maintain baseline representations.
• Develop engineering artifacts and roadmaps aligned with objectives.
• Evaluate dependencies, gaps, risks, and opportunities across NAS domains.
• Collaborate with FAA organizations and industry stakeholders to ensure consistency.
• Prepare analyses, briefings, and decision-support materials for leadership.
