Job summary

C&S Machine is seeking an NDT Technician Level 2 Certified to support production in Niles, MI. The role involves performing MT and PT inspections, NE, passivation, and documenting results for aerospace/defense customers.

You'll calibrate and operate NDT equipment, maintain calibration records, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and contribute to a safe, efficient factory environment. High school diploma or GED required; NAS-410 Level II preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or currently in a co-op program while in high school.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections (MT, PT), NE, and passivation processes for Aerospace and Defense customers.
• Document, organize, and report inspection and test results.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain NDT and related equipment.
• Maintain calibration, material, and equipment certification records.
• Verify products meet method sheets, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Perform chemical titration testing to maintain process specifications.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, NADCAP, customer, and contractual requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate issues, challenges, and updates to team leadership and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
