Job summary

CatFace in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned Creative Producer to lead our Narrative Stories production team. This hands-on leadership role oversees scripts through final delivery, balancing creative ambition with production realities to maintain a weekly release schedule.

You'll partner with Animation, Editorial, and channel leadership to develop engaging, character-driven content that audiences want to revisit, while growing a high-performing team in person at our studio.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in creative producing, showrunning, or production leadership.
• Proven experience leading creative teams and multiple productions.
• Strong storytelling instincts with emphasis on character, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to provide clear feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Team: Manage a multidisciplinary team and keep productions on track.
• Own Production from Story to Screen: Oversee episodes from script to final delivery and solve challenges.
• Champion Story & Creative Quality: Strengthen character moments and visual storytelling.
• Concept & Develop Ideas: Collaborate with Writers to visualize ideas before production.
• Balance Ambition, Quality & Efficiency: Invest resources wisely and maintain weekly output.
• Provide Creative Direction & Feedback: Offer actionable feedback throughout production.
• Improve Production Systems: Develop workflows to improve planning and handoffs.
• Develop Characters & IP: Shape recurring characters and world concepts.
• Think Audience‑First: Use YouTube data to inform creative decisions.
