Job summary

CatFace, a YouTube entertainment company behind Aphmau, is hiring a Post Production Manager to own the post pipeline end to end—from ingest to final delivery—across a high-volume, fast-turnaround release schedule. You will lead a team of editors, build scalable workflows, protect creative intent with producers, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality.

This role is onsite in Austin, TX, with some weekend work and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in post-production with hands-on leadership experience.
• Fluency in Premiere Pro and After Effects; Pro Tools knowledge a plus.
• Track record building or improving post workflows.
• Comfort owning schedules and budgets and communicating tradeoffs.
• Strong eye for pacing and quality for kids/YA content.
• Bachelor's degree in film or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the post-production pipeline from ingest through final delivery across multiple projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of editors - assigning work and giving feedback.
• Build scalable workflows, templates, and asset management systems.
• Partner with producers to protect creative intent and meet schedules.
• Track timelines, budgets, and freelancer resourcing; identify bottlenecks.
• Introduce new tools or techniques to improve speed and quality.
• Maintain delivery standards for YouTube formats, including Shorts.
• Review videos and provide constructive feedback.
