Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking a Utility Operator for the Napkin Printing department on 2nd shift in Montoursville, PA. You will prepare presses, mount stock, mix inks, adjust pressure, and ensure alignment and quality during runs.

This is a safety-minded, skilled role requiring basic math and reading comprehension; prior packing or plant experience is valued. Cross-training to operate a Mark Andy press is expected, with onsite work.

Qualifications

• Pass Color Acuity Test.
• Understand basic written and oral instructions.
• Perform basic math.
• Communicate with management and coworkers to meet goals.
• Run a printing press to established standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with machine operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the press for scheduled runs.
• Mount plate, napkin, or label stock to the press.
• Determine ink formulations and transfer to printing stations.
• Adjust printing cylinder pressure for correct print.
• Ensure web alignment and quality during runs.
• Make adjustments as needed during the run.
• Remove finished roll and reset for next run.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow changeover procedures.
