Qualifications

• Experience operating a print press and maintaining quality outputs.
• Ability to read production orders and set up print runs.

Responsibilities

• Examine job jacket to determine quantities, stock specs, colors, or special printing instructions.
• Change press plates, blankets, or inserts as required.
• Clean ink fountains, plates, or printing unit cylinders after runs.
• Clean or oil presses or perform minor repairs with hand tools.
• Download or scan files to be printed using production software.
• Feed paper through press cylinders and adjust feed and tension controls.
• Input production job settings into workstation terminals controlling automated systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow company policies.
