Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in the Napkins Department to support our production team. You will operate and monitor equipment, perform troubleshooting, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

About Our Opportunity

Machine Operator position on 2nd shift in the Napkins Department.

PRIMARY DUTY

Effectively operates and monitors machines in production department.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Starts, stops, and clears jams from the equipment.
  • Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.
  • Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.
  • Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • A commitment to company‑wide quality and safety is required.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Ability to work as a team leader.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and work in a fast paced distribution environment.
  • Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
  • Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Continued education preferred.
  • 1 year prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.

Pay
  • We offer competitive pay based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training, and geographic location.
  • The starting hourly pay rate is $17.00.
