Job summary

Napa Rose at Disneyland Resort, inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, is seeking a Host/Cashier to greet guests with warmth, manage reservations, and guide seating flow for a world-class dining experience.

The role requires poise, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, with opportunities to contribute to a prestigious dining program in California.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests with directions, event schedules, and other information to provide excellent Guest service
• Assign open tables to Guests and monitor dining room status
• Escort Guests to their tables, maintain menu cleanliness, and monitor restaurant lobby
• Retrieve highchairs, slings, and boosters for little Guests
• Pull chairs out for Guests
• Answer phone in timely manner and assist Guests with reservation bookings, directions, and all other questions

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests with directions, event schedules, and other information and assistance as needed to provide excellent Guest service
• Assign open tables to Guests and remain aware of dining room status at all times
• Escort Guests to their tables, maintain menu cleanliness, and monitor restaurant lobby
• Retrieve highchairs, slings, and boosters for little Guests
• Pull chairs out for Guests
• Answer phone in timely manner and assist Guests with reservation bookings, directions, and all other questions

Basic Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
• Previous work experience in a fast-paced, high end restaurant environment
• Experience with multi-tasking
• Must possess technical proficiency in booking, changing, and updating reservations
• Knowledge of Forbes standards is a plus
• Excellent Guest service skills
• Poised and professional - avoiding use of casual language
• Very strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills - including the ability to speak articulately and clearly and provide good eye contact

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY

This location serves Breakfast and Dinner service. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM while some may end as late as midnight (or later depending on when the last Guest leaves.

• All shift times and hours are subject to change based on business needs

The pay rate for this role in California is $21.13 per hour.
