Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Aurora, IL seeks a Nanoparticle Research Associate Co‑Op for the Spring 2027 season. This 6‑month assignment focuses on CMP applications and building nanoparticle capabilities with strong analytical focus.

You will work 40 hours/week, January through June, collaborating with team members to advance surface modification, data analysis, and reporting while gaining hands-on experience in a chemical research setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or a related discipline.
• Completed coursework in organic and inorganic chemistry with strong theoretical foundation.
• Proficient in chemical laboratory techniques and safe handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and characterization of nanoparticles for CMP applications.
• Perform surface modification experiments using silane chemistry.
• Apply analytical techniques to assess surface properties and modifications.
• Interpret results, prepare reports, and present findings to the team.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
