Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Metrology Scientist Co-op for the Spring 2027 term at our Billerica, MA site. The 6‑month assignment involves performing experiments to evaluate liquid filtration and purification products in Metrology Labs and developing analytical methods to support R&D on filtration materials.

You will gain hands-on experience with ICP-MS, nanoparticle testing, and method development while contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling chemicals and operating lab equipment while generating and interpreting data.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a fast-paced environment with clear communication.
• Knowledge of nanoparticles and analytical chemistry basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and perform trace level metals test by ICP-MS.
• Support senior scientist in developing methods for detection of sub 20 nm particles using single nanoparticle ICP-MS.
• Design and perform method alignment with other labs.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for method optimization.
• Maintain accurate records and document the new testing method.
• Present project progress in group meetings.
