Job summary

Entegris in Billerica, MA seeks an Analytical scientist Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. The six-month assignment focuses on developing new retention methods for evaluating filtration technologies used in semiconductor manufacturing.

The Co-Op is with the Metrology team within APS, offering hands-on measurement work, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support R&D and external customers.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student.
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program.
• Entegris does not sponsor H1-B for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop new retention methods to evaluate current and next-generation products.
• Study nanoparticle-membrane interaction mechanisms using fluorescence spectrophotometry, ICP-MS and Gel permeation chromatography (GPC).
• Collect, interpret, and review experimental data regularly with the analytical team.
• Draw sound scientific conclusions based on data analysis.
• Use critical thinking and problem solving to determine project outlooks.
