Entegris in Aurora, IL invites applications for a Nanoparticle Research Associate Co‑Op for the Spring 2027 season. This 6‑month assignment focuses on CMP applications, nanoparticle preparation, surface modification, and data‑driven collaboration with the research team.

You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or a related field, with coursework in organic/inorganic chemistry.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student
• Available to work 40 hours per week, M–F (8a–5p) January–June
• Must be familiar with the university coop requirements
• Entegris does not sponsor H1-B or other immigration sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Nanoparticles: support preparation and characterization for CMP applications
• Surface Modification: perform surface modification experiments using silane chemistry
• Surface Characterization: apply electron microscopy, NMR, TGA to assess surface properties
• Data Analysis: interpret results, prepare reports, present findings to team
• Collaboration: work with team and contribute to meetings with technical insights
