Qualifications

• PhD, MS, or BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role within the life sciences industry.
• Hands-on experience in lateral flow assay development, optimization, and nanoparticle integration preferred.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to advance projects independently.
• Experience with nanoparticle bioconjugation and surface functionalization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use technical expertise to generate client interest, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships within the territory to expand Fortis Nanomaterials sales.
• Sell products and services to diagnostic developers, IVD manufacturers, pharma, biotech, and academic institutions.
• Establish trusting relationships with diagnostic developers to identify opportunities to incorporate nanoparticles in lateral flow and other diagnostic assays.
• Provide guidance through product evaluation, assay integration, and qualification to convert evaluations into recurring commercial relationships.
• Translate customer requirements into opportunities for internal R&D and product development teams.
• Report sales results and forecasts during funnel reviews with precision in the CRM.
