Kohler Co.'s Kohler Waters Spas in Lincoln Park, Chicago, seeks a seasoned trainer to oversee new hire training, uphold Forbes standards, and deliver engaging session content to spa and hotel teams.

This full-time onsite role requires strong communication, adaptability to various learning styles, and a proven ability to develop training materials, assess effectiveness, and coach staff. Training and compliance with state requirements are emphasized.

Job description

To provide the highest level of internal and external customer service set forth by the Kohler Waters Spas and Forbes. Team members are responsible for upholding consistency in all standards. A direct line of communication will be on-going among fellow associates regarding needs and concerns. A professional demeanor must be presented at all times.

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Lincoln Park, IL

Opportunity

Specific Responsibilities

• Providing guests with professional nail services that exceed their expectations
• Cleaning assigned work areas after every service and being knowledgeable of appropriate sanitary procedures
• Professionally informing guests of available services, retail products, and amenities within the spa and throughout the hotel
• Maintaining continuing education criteria based on State of Wisconsin requirements
• Adhering to policies put in place by Forbes, Kohler Waters Spa and Kohler Co.

This is a full-time position working weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 8:00 am - 8:30 pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Oversees all new hire training for technical performance and Forbes standards
• Participates in spa menu development (research, ideas, drafting SOPs) Manage additional projects as assigned by Lead
• Helps manage schedule of associates and in-house trainings Mandatory attendance at in-house trainings
• Minimum 5 years of experience to support employee development through training program.
• The ideal candidate will have strong communication, ability to adapt to different learning styles, and solution -focus mindset delivering engaging sessions to employees, develop and update training materials as needed, assess training effectiveness and provide feedback, support team performance improvements through coaching
• Adapt training methods to meet diverse learner needs, identify problems and implement practical solutions
