Job summary

The Osthoff Resort & Spa in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin is seeking skilled Aspira Spa Nail Technicians to deliver professional nail, hand and foot treatments with a focus on guest satisfaction and AAA 4-Diamond service. Full-time, part-time and casual positions are available, with health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid vacation and more.

Sign-on bonus of $1500 is offered along with tuition reimbursement and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold and maintain a current state license for Nail Technician.
• Experience in Wellness Industry in similar position preferred.
• CPR certified (recommended).
• Must have flexibility in time to meet the business needs of the spa (weekends/holidays).
• Ability to learn quickly and accurately.
• Must have a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and listening skills.
• Have basic computer knowledge.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of nails, including basic hand/foot massage techniques and polish application.
• Be on time for shifts and manage appointments within allotted times.
• Provide professional nail, hand and foot treatments per Aspira Spa protocols.
• Care for equipment and use products cost-effectively.
• Educate guests on services/products and provide beauty solutions.
• Promote home care programs and retail sales.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of nails, including a basic knowledge of hand and foot massage techniques and a neat application of polish


• Be on time for shifts, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service


• Provide consistent professional nail, hand and foot treatments in accordance with Aspira Spa protocols and accepted certification practices


• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls


• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating guests and providing them with effective beauty solutions


• Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals


• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures


• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required


• Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention


• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available


• Handle guests’ questions, concerns, and requests professionally and promptly


• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision


• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment


• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa


• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data


• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management


• All other duties as assigned by department Director and/or Executive Team members
