Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a dependable maintenance technician to ensure continuous operation of Vision System machines in the Cup Pack out processing. The role focuses on daily maintenance and quick repair of breakdowns during production, with proactive adjustments to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a certificate or several years of related experience and can learn and teach others essential adjustments. We offer strong benefits and growth in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Machine maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Vision System equipment.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of all Vision System machines within the Cup Pack out department.
• Repair of any breakdowns during normal production.
• Proactive line adjustments to prevent lost processing time.
• Continuous equipment preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ability to learn all aspects of Vision System equipment and teach others adjustments.

The pay range for this job is $22.00 to $22.55 per hour.
This position is 3rd shift. 12am start time. Summary: Responsible for the continuous and “trouble free” running of the Vision System machines incorporated within the Cup Pack out processing department. In event of absence, position will be filled by adequately trained personnel.

Essential Duties:

• Daily maintenance of all Vision System machines within the Cup Pack out department
• Repair of any breakdowns during normal production.
• Proactive line adjustments, to prevent lost processing time.
• Continuous equipment Preventative Maintenance, in order to eliminate or minimize future processing “down time”
• Ability to learn all aspects of Vision System equipment, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments.

Education and/or Experience:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Machine maintenance experience preferred.
