Job summary

Chelsea Jewish Lifecare is seeking a Nail Technician for Harriett & Ralph Kaplan Estates on a part-time, 1099 basis. You will provide manicures, pedicures, and basic nail care to residents one day per week, with 85% of gross receipts as commission.

Flexible hours support a workable schedule while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care. Must hold a MA Cosmetology or Manicurist license, carry professional liability insurance, bring your own tools, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have MA Cosmetology or Manicurist license.
• Must carry professional liability insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation and provide auto insurance if driving to community.
• Must be able to provide own supplies and tools to perform services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide manicures, pedicures, nail trimming, filing, shaping, and basic nail care services to residents, promoting comfort and well-being.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care respecting dignity and preferences.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety protocols including tool cleaning and disinfection.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident needs or concerns and maintain a clean, organized service area.
