Harriett & Ralph Kaplan Estates is seeking a Nail Technician to perform manicures, pedicures, and basic nail care for residents on a part-time, 1 day per week schedule. This 1099 position is commission-based at 85% of gross receipts, offering flexible hours.

The ideal candidate holds a MA Cosmetology or Manicurist license, carries professional liability insurance, and can provide own supplies. Excellent communication with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current MA Cosmetology or Manicurist license
• Must carry professional liability insurance
• Must have reliable transportation and provide auto insurance if driving
• Must provide own supplies and tools to perform services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team
• Fluent English in speaking and writing

Responsabilités

• Provide manicures, pedicures, nail trimming, filing, shaping, and basic nail care for residents
• Deliver resident-centered care respecting dignity and personal grooming needs
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety protocols for tools and equipment
• Communicate with nursing staff about resident needs and maintain a clean service area

• Provide manicures, pedicures, nail trimming, filing, shaping, and basic nail care services to residents while promoting comfort, personal hygiene, and well-being.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while respecting each individual's dignity, preferences, and personal grooming needs.
• Follow established infection prevention, sanitation, and safety protocols, including proper cleaning and disinfection of tools and equipment.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident needs or concerns, follow facility policies, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service area.

Qualifications for Success:

• Must have a current MA Cosmetology or Manicurist license
• Must carry professional liability insurance
• Must have reliable transportation and able to provide a copy of auto insurance if driving to community
• Must be able to provide own supplies and tools to perform services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
