Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Record to Report activities for North America, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong controls. You will partner with Shared Services and HR, oversee payroll reporting and intercompany reconciliation, and drive Concur governance and T&E processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process discipline, and adherence to corporate standards across NA entities, with opportunities to influence regional financial operations and HQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial operations, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of Record to Report processes, general ledger accounting, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across NA entities.
• Partner with SSC and internal stakeholders to resolve issues in R2R.
• Oversee Concur operations for North America.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliation activities and liaison with SSC Intercompany.
• Lead HQ process ownership and cross-functional inputs.
• Support additional financial or operational activities as needed.
