LGC Group is seeking a seasoned Head of Payroll to oversee US and Canada payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments while aligning with tax laws and GL reconciliation. You will manage outsourced payroll vendor relationships and coordinate with HR and Finance to optimize processes.

The role demands strong analytical abilities, integrity, and leadership to maintain compliance and drive efficiency across multi-location payroll activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll management and leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations and benefits integration.
• Experience managing relationships with outsourced payroll vendors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll account transactions for salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments.
• Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems across multiple locations.
• Oversee payroll changes (new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
• Oversee our payroll vendor relationship and service quality.
• Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams; maintain accurate records and reports.
• Resolve payroll-related questions and issues.
