Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to join the North America LastMile Design Team to support the expansion of the Delivery Station Network in NA. You will drive delivery station layouts, process flows, and standardization across stations to meet safety, quality, and cost goals.

Responsibilities include designing and reviewing layouts, collaborating with architecture, real estate, and operations teams, and leading retrofit initiatives while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial, operations, manufacturing, or project engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, review, and release new delivery station layouts and capacity improvements.
• Provide engineering design for material flow, conveyors, equipment, operations modules, packaging profiles, and site layout components.
• Lead expansion and retrofit initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and station capacity.
• Collaborate across teams to standardize designs and share best practices with EU and WW counterparts.
• Facilitate cross-functional design reviews and implement solutions for recurring design issues.
