Amazon.com Services LLC in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Design Engineer to join the North America LastMile Design Team. You will drive delivery station process, building design, and standardization across our Last Mile network, aligning with safety, quality, and cost goals.

The role involves designing and optimizing the delivery and sortation network, with travel up to 25% for complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and delivering scalable, high-quality designs for stations

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, review, and release new delivery station layouts and capacity improvements.
Provide engineering design expertise for material flow, conveyors, and equipment.
Lead expansion and retrofit projects to improve safety, quality, productivity and capacity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across WW, EU, and NA to standardize designs.
