Project Description

IT Database Analyst with hands-on exposure to Technology Lifecycle Management, migration of databases to the latest vendor-supported versions, implementation & configuration of MySQL database, implementing HA/DR solutions, and backup/recovery strategies. Experience in database migration/upgrade on MySQL, ability to automate repeatable tasks, support problem resolution, and participate in requirement gathering. Ability to identify and perform performance tuning as part of the migration process. Participate in product evaluations, design review sessions, and data requirement meetings.

Responsibilities

• Implementation & configuration of MySQL database
• Implement HA/DR solution and backup/recovery strategy
• Database migration/upgrade experience on MySQL
• Ability to automate repeatable tasks
• Support problem resolution and participate in requirement gathering
• Identify and perform performance tuning as part of the migration
• Participate in product evaluations, design review sessions, and data requirement meetings
• Open to work in extended shifts for production releases during US daytime hours/weekends
