CNIC NAS Lemoore seeks a Facility and Maintenance Manager to oversee MWR fitness, sports, and aquatic facilities and maintenance operations.
The role requires knowledge of safe equipment use, facility operations, budgets, procurement, and CNIC standards, with duties including supervision, reporting, and delivering trainings.
This position is assigned to the NAF Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Forces Support Branch; Fleet Readiness: Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC): NAS Lemoore. The incumbent serves as a Facility and Maintenance Manager responsible for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) fitness, sports, and/or aquatics facilities and maintenance operations.
Knowledge of: Safe use and operation of fitness equipment; facility operations; and basic fitness equipment maintenance/repair. Work methods and practices of various building trades. Safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations. NAF and APF budget; government procurement procedures; and fiscal, material, and cash management. Recreation equipment to determine the items that are of the best quality and will most benefit the MWR both functionally and financially. NAF operating budgets, procurement process, and/or credit card holder responsibilities. Applicable DOD, OPNAV, SECNAV, BUPERS, and CNIC instructions and standards which primarily include but are not limited to the CNIC 1710 series and the Fitness, Sports, and Aquatics Support program standards. And ability to safely use common hand and powered tools.
Skill in: Effectively organizing and utilizing all the available community resources within the program framework. Ability to: Perform the full range of supervisory duties. Independently perform fitness facility management and related administrative duties. Prepare clear, concise, and technically sound reports related to work within the Branch. Develop and effectively deliver presentations and/or trainings. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
