Job summary

Navylifesw is seeking a Facility and Maintenance Manager to oversee Morale, Welfare and Recreation fitness, sports, and aquatic facilities and related operations at NAS Lemoore.

The role requires independent management of facility operations, supervisory duties, and the preparation of clear, technically sound reports, with strong communication and training delivery skills within CNIC standards.

Qualifications

Job description

This position is assigned to the NAF Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Forces Support Branch; Fleet Readiness: Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC): NAS Lemoore.

The incumbent serves as a Facility and Maintenance Manager responsible for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) fitness, sports, and/or aquatics facilities and maintenance operations.

Knowledge of:

• Safe use and operation of fitness equipment; facility operations; and basic fitness equipment maintenance/repair.
• Work methods and practices of various building trades.
• Safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.
• NAF and APF budget; government procurement procedures; and fiscal, material, and cash management.
• Recreation equipment to determine the items that are of the best quality and will most benefit the MWR both functionally and financially.
• NAF operating budgets, procurement process, and/or credit card holder responsibilities.
• Applicable DOD, OPNAV, SECNAV, BUPERS, and CNIC instructions and standards which primarily include but are not limited to the CNIC 1710 series and the Fitness, Sports, and Aquatics Support program standards.
• And ability to safely use common hand and powered tools.
