Job summary

Genesis Staffing seeks an Extreme Command Specialist to provide direct field support for Extreme drilling equipment, coordinating data and assisting customers in the field.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree, 3–5 years MWD field experience, EM telemetry expertise, and proficiency with XEM/xBolt, Excel and PowerBI. You will rotate 24/7 shifts in an office-based environment. Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Min 2 year technical degree required.
• 3-5 years of direct field experience in a directional drilling/MWD service business in North America Land.
• Working knowledge of XEM, xBolt, and other Extreme or SLB MWD systems ideal
• Familiarity with rotary steerable systems
• Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerBI, and other basic data analysis tools
• Comfortable talking directly with customers
• Recent MWD experience, specifically electromagnetic (EM) telemetry (within the last 3–5 years).
• Strong computer literacy (Excel, PowerBI).
• Prior SLB/Extreme experience, with XEM/xBolt experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients running Extreme equipment in the field.
• Escalate issues to the proper technical role within the Extreme organization as necessary.
• Catalog information from equipment activity and issues in the appropriate SLB business systems.
• Consolidate information regularly to update the Extreme organization on ongoing field activity.
