The Campaign Finance Board seeks an experienced MWBE Officer to promote minority- and women-owned business participation in public contracting. You will oversee MWBE programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with multiple divisions to advance equity in procurement.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Contracting Officer, this role focuses on MWBE program development, budgeting, and stakeholder education, helping the agency achieve its diversity and inclusion goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience in accounting, auditing, public administration, or a closely related field.
• Experience building or administering MWBE programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of PPB Rules, Comptroller directives, and local/state/federal procurement laws is expected.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and manage MWBE programs to increase participation in contracting opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal MWBE requirements and regulations.
• Build relationships with MWBE vendors, contractors, and community organizations to improve outreach.
• Lead MWBE program policy development and cross-divisional collaboration within the agency.
• Prepare reports on MWBE participation metrics for leadership and the Mayor’s Office on a quarterly basis.
