Job summary

The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission seeks an experienced MW Class IV-A Plumber to support the Maintenance Department in the Eastern Division of the Ohio Turnpike. This role begins with on-site duties at multiple maintenance buildings along the corridor.

You will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems across toll plazas, service plazas, and maintenance buildings, including water supply, wastewater, boilers, HVAC controls, and associated equipment, with emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

• Associate degree or apprenticeship in plumbing with hands-on experience.
• Experience with restroom facilities, boilers, water supply systems, and control systems preferred.
• HVAC systems experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned plumbing tasks for maintenance buildings, toll plazas, service plazas, and other Commission facilities.
• Install, maintain, repair plumbing systems including water and wastewater, hot water heating, and boilers.
• Install and service underground water mains up to 8 inches, valves, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wastewater treatment, lift/pump stations, and portable water treatment equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC controls, pumps, and backflow prevention devices.
• Follow safety practices and assist in safety inspections as required.
