U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Buffalo, NY seeks a Program Specialist, Research Coordinator to manage day-to-day MVP operations, enroll participants, collect data, and liaise with the Coordinating Center to maintain study integrity.

The role supports IRB submissions, regulatory compliance, and local communication for participant visits, with duties extending to escalation of issues as needed. This is a temporary appointment not to exceed one year.

Responsabilités

• Organizes the day-to-day operations of Million Veteran Program (MVP), including enrolling participants, collecting data, and serving as a critical conduit to the Program Coordinating Center.
• Ensures timely and complete submission of VA Central Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation to Coordinating Centers as requested and prepares and submits all necessary documentation to local R&D.
• Responsible for escalating issues/concerns to all relevant stakeholders including adverse participant safety events, and other necessary communications.
• Ensures MVP maintains compliance with all applicable regulatory concerns, including human subject protection and information security.
• Serves as local site point of contact for enrollment activities, including special events and participant visits.
